Biography
Marilyne Canto was an actress who graced the silver screen many times throughout her Hollywood career. Canto's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the Jean-Paul Muel comedy "L' Hotel de la plage" (1978), "Les Lendemains Qui Chantent" (1985) and "L' Amour en deux" (1991). She also appeared in "Blind Spot" (1994) and "Cameleone" (1996). She kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in the Jeanne Balibar drama "Three Bridges Over the River" (1999), "Nadia et les Hippopotames" (2000) and the Anne Brochet drama "30 ans" (2000). She also appeared in "On appelle ca... le printemps" (2001). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the foreign "Operation Turquoise" (2007) with Aurelien Recoing, the dramatic comedy "Last Investigation" (2007) with Jean-Pierre Cassel and the foreign "Nes En 68" (2008) with Laetitia Casta. She also appeared in the Salome Stevenin foreign "Comme une etoile dans la nuit" (2008) and "Le dernier pour la route" (2009) with François Cluzet. Most recently, Canto acted in "Le Sens de l'humour" (2014).
