Biography
Jerry Calà was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Calà landed roles in various films, including "I'll Go and Live By Myself" (1983), "Poveri ma ricchi" (1983) and "Sapore Di Mare" (1983). He also appeared in "A Boy and a Girl" (1984), "Domani Mi Sposo" (1984) and "Vacanze in America" (1984). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Vaconze di Natale" (1984), "Il Ragazzo del Pony Express" (1986) and "Love at First Sight" (1986). He also appeared in "Yuppies 2" (1986), "Yuppies, I Giovani di Successo" (1986) and the comedy "Rimini Rimini" (1987) with Paolo Vaillaggio. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Fratelli d'Italia" (1989), "Diary of a Maniac" (1993) and "Gli Inaffidabili" (1997). He also appeared in the foreign "Vita Smeralda" (2006) with Eleonora Pedron and "Torno a vivere da solo" (2008). Most recently, Calà acted in "Operazione Vacanze" (2012).
