Janet Gunn was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Her career began with roles in "In the Heat of the Night" (1987-1994), "Herman's Head" (Fox, 1991-94) and "Diagnosis Murder" (CBS, 1993-2001). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Killer Among Us" (NBC, 1990-91). Following that project, she appeared in the Jean-Claude van Damme action movie "The Quest" (1996), "The Nurse" (1997) and "Always Say Goodbye" (1998) with Joshua Beckett. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). In the early 2000s, she then appeared in "Ground Zero" (2000), the Mary-Kate Olsen comedy "Getting There" (2002) and the thriller "The Lost Voyage" (2002) with Lance Henriksen. Most recently, Gunn acted on "Eyes" (2004-05).
