Actor James Bacon appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Biography

Actor James Bacon appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Bacon appeared in such films as "Pepe" (1960) with Cantinflas, the drama "Underworld, U.S.A." (1961) with Cliff Robertson and "Eighty Steps to Jonah" (1969) with Wayne Newton. He also appeared in the adventure "Skullduggery" (1970) with Burt Reynolds, "Escape From the Planet of the Apes" (1971) with Roddy McDowall and the Angus Duncan comedy "How To Seduce a Woman" (1973). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the nineties in productions like the Jack Palance action picture "One Man Jury" (1978), "Charlie Chan and the Curse of the Dragon Queen" (1981) and the drama "My Brother's Wedding" (1991) with Everett Silas. He also appeared in the TV special "More Wild Wild West" (CBS, 1980-81). Bacon was most recently credited in "Sing Your Face Off" (ABC, 2013-14). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Lucy & Desi: TV's First Couple" (1994-95), "Clark Gable: Tall, Dark and Handsome" (TNT, 1995-96) and "Hollywood's Amazing Animal Actors" (TBS, 1995-96). He also appeared in "The Kennedys: Power, Seduction and Hollywood: The E! True Hollywood Story" (E! Networks, 1997-98) and "Elizabeth Taylor: The E! True Hollywood Story" (E! Networks, 1998-99). Bacon passed away in September 2010 at the age of 96.
