Biography
Andy Buckley was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Early on, Buckley landed roles on various television sitcoms, including "Unhappily Ever After" (WB, 1994-99), "The Crew" (Fox, 1995-96) and "Caroline in the City" (NBC, 1995-99). He also landed roles in various films, such as "No Small Ways" (1997) and the Julianna Margulies comedy "We Met on the Vineyard" (1999). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Will Ferrell hit action picture "The Other Guys" (2010), the Katherine Heigl dramedy "Life As We Know It" (2010) and the Kristen Wiig box office smash comedy "Bridesmaids" (2011). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Hit the Floor" (VH1, 2012-15). In the 2010s, Buckley lent his talents to projects like "Kick-Ass 2" with Aaron Taylor-Johnson (2013), "Silicon Valley" (HBO, 2013-) and "The World's End" (2013). His credits also expanded to "Horrible Bosses 2" with Jason Bateman (2014) and the Martin Freeman and Cate Blanchett blockbuster "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" (2014). Buckley most recently worked on the Colin Firth hit action movie "Kingsman: The Secret Service" (2015).
