Biography
As a musician, Eric Burdon's entertaining and creative music was in a variety of Hollywood productions. Burdon worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Ballhaus Barmbek" with Joergen Pfennigwerth (1988), "Comeback" (1981) and "Die Katze" (1988) starring Götz George. He also contributed to "Gibbi West Germany" (1980), "Men" (1986) starring Heiner Lauterbach and "Superstars in Film Concert" with Mick Jagger (1971). In the nineties, Burdon's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the comedy adventure "Joe Versus the Volcano" (1990) with Tom Hanks, the Adam Sandler box office smash comedic sports movie "The Waterboy" (1998) and "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" (1999). Burdon's music was also featured in "Steal This Movie" (2000) with Vincent D'Onofrio, the Denzel Washington hit sports drama "Remember the Titans" (2000) and "Zodiac" (2007) with Jake Gyllenhaal. His music was also featured in the Ice Cube blockbuster comedic adventure "Ride Along" (2014). Burdon's music was most recently featured in the drama "The Riot Club" (2015) with Sam Claflin. In addition to his music, Burdon also appeared on-screen in the documentary "Plaster Caster" (2001) with Cynthia Plaster Caster.
