Biography
A gorgeous model-actress and all-around good sport, Kelly Brook won over many fans with her grounded, self-deprecating view on her unique talents and fame. Born Nov. 23, 1979 in Rochester, Kent, England, Kelly Ann Parsons achieved fame as a teenage model, whose shapely figure and sweet personality made her a hot commodity around the world. The face of multiple high-profile products and a magazine mainstay, Brook nabbed hosting jobs on "The Big Breakfast" (Channel 4, 1992-2002), "Love Island" (ITV, 2005-06) and "Britain's Got Talent" (ITV, 2007- ). She herself competed on such programs as "Strictly Come Dancing" (BBC One, 2004- ). Romantically linked to Jason Statham and engaged to Billy Zane at one time, Brook also began lining up acting jobs, recurring on "Smallville" (The WB, 2001-06; The CW, 2006-2011) as a mysterious woman bent on seducing and destroying Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). She went on to appear in "The Italian Job" (2003), "School for Seduction" (2004), "Romy and Michele: In the Beginning" (ABC Family, 2005), "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" (2005) and "Piranha" (2010), where she played a kind-hearted adult film actress who tragically proves delicious to the titular fishes. Usually lighthearted and unsinkable, Brook made sad headlines in 2011 when she and boyfriend, rugby star Thom Evans, suffered a miscarriage.
