Biography

Delaney Bramlett brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Bramlett worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Cannonball" (1976), "Catch My Soul" (1973) starring Richie Havens and "Just Friends" (CBS, 1978-79). He also contributed to "The Stockard Channing Show" (CBS, 1979-1980). In the eighties and the early 2000s, Bramlett's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Rutger Hauer action movie "Wanted Dead or Alive" (1987), the dramatic adaptation "A Good Year" (2006) with Russell Crowe and the Robin Williams comedy "RV" (2006). Bramlett's music was also featured in the comedic drama "Diggers" (2007) with Paul Rudd, the Nicolas Cage blockbuster action picture "Ghost Rider" (2007) and the Ellen Page hit dramatic comedy "Juno" (2007). Bramlett was most recently credited in the horror film "Cut!" (2015) with David Banks. Bramlett passed away in December 2008 at the age of 69.
