Biography
Over the duration of her career, Laura Branigan produced music for multiple Hollywood productions. Branigan worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "An Uncommon Love" (CBS, 1983-84), "Body Rock" (1984), "Flashdance" (1983), "Ghostbusters" (1984) starring Bill Murray, "In Love With an Older Woman" (CBS, 1982-83) and "Love Is Forever" (NBC, 1982-83). In the eighties, Branigan devoted her time to various credits, such as "Delta Pi" (1985), "Backstage" (1988), the Eddie Murphy and Eddie Murphy blockbuster "Coming to America" (1988) and "Salsa" with Bobby Rosa (1988). She also appeared at "The American Music Awards" (1985-86). Branigan last provided music for "Short Fuse" (1991). Laura Branigan passed away in August 2004 at the age of 47.
