Biography
Ian Blackman was an actor who has created his niche in the dramatic film. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The House of Blue Leaves" (PBS, 1986-87) and "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (PBS, 2000-01). A few of his roles at the time were also in movies like "We Pedal Uphill" (2009). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, he acted in the Jessica Alba dramatic adaptation "An Invisible Sign" (2011) and the Will Smith smash hit sci-fi sequel "Men in Black 3" (2012). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Blue Bloods" (CBS, 2010-). Blackman also appeared in the Jeremy Renner hit action film "The Bourne Legacy" (2012), "The Big Wedding" (2013) with Diane Keaton and the dramatic musical "Inside Llewyn Davis" (2013) with Oscar Isaac. He also appeared in "The Judge" (2014) with Robert Downey Jr.. Most recently, Blackman acted in the comedy "Hail, Caesar!" (2016) with Josh Brolin.
