Biography
Ian Black was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Memories of Murder" (1989-1990), "Sky High" (NBC, 1989-1990) and "Always Remember I Love You" (CBS, 1990-91). He also landed roles in various films, such as the adventure "The Journey of Natty Gann" (1985) with Meredith Salenger and the comedy "Mystery Date" (1991) with Ethan Hawke. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Big Bear" (1998-99). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Johnny's Girl" (ABC, 1994-95). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Commish" (1991-95). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Christopher Reeve drama "Morning Glory" (1993) and "Painted Angels" (1998) with Brenda Fricker. Black continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Stranger in Town" (Showtime, 1998-99), "Cold Harvest" (Cinemax, 1999-2000) and "Country's Family Reunion & the Young 'Uns" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "Rock and Roll Graffiti" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000), "Beyond Borders" (2003) starring Angelina Jolie and "Mary Higgins Clark's Try to Remember" (ION Television Network, 2003-04). Most recently, Black appeared in "Android Apocalypse" (Syfy, 2005-06).
