Biography
Joshua Bell worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Michael Tilson Thomas Conducts Miami's New World Symphony" (1989-1990), "Mostly Mozart and Mendelssohn Too" (PBS, 1992-93) and "Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" (1994-95). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Evening at Pops" (PBS, 1969-2002). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Bell devoted his time to various credits, such as "Iris" (2001), "Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story" (2005) and "Ladies in Lavender" (2005) starring Maggie Smith. Bell had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including "Silk" with Keira Knightley (2007), "Defiance" (2008) starring Daniel Craig and the Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor hit "Angels & Demons" (2009) His credits also expanded to "For Colored Girls" with Janet Jackson (2010) and "Orchestra Of Exiles" (2012). Most recently, Bell appeared on "A YoungArts Masterclass" (HBO, 2014-15).
