In 1976, he made his screen debut in James Goldstone's "Swashbuckler." In 1993, he performed with Cirque De Soleil. Godreau began his career with a role in the drama "Altered States" (1980) with William Hurt. Godreau also appeared in "For Ladies Only" (NBC, 1981-82). Later in his career, Godreau worked on "Aijo Monogatari" (1984). Godreau was married to Judith Jamison. Godreau passed away in August 1996 at the age of 50.
