Biography
Biography
The son of blacklisted screenwriters Ben and Norma Barzman, Paolo Barzman grew up largely in Europe and eventually began directing for television during the late 1980s. After helming episodes of the American/Canadian Western show "Bordertown," Barzman went on to direct more than a dozen episodes of the fantasy series "Highlander" and later the adventure program "Relic Hunter," while sometimes working on French-language TV productions. He helped to develop and direct the sci-fi-oriented "Grand Star," and later had success with yet another Canadian series, the North American version of the British hit supernatural show "Being Human." In 2007, Barzman made a rare feature, the domestic drama "Emotional Arithmetic."
