Biography
Ellen Gerstein was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Gerstein kickstarted her acting career in various films such as the Tim Conway comedy "The Billion Dollar Hobo" (1978), the Dyan Cannon adventurous drama "Coast to Coast" (1980) and the Cameron Dye comedy "Joy of Sex" (1984). She also appeared in the Lorenzo Lamas musical "Body Rock" (1984) and the Scott Valentine comedy "My Demon Lover" (1987). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "I'm Dangerous Tonight" (USA, 1989-1990). She also appeared in the TV special "Vidiots" (CBS, 1990-91). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in "Daddy's Boys" (1988). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Seinfeld" (NBC, 1989-1998). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Simon" (WB, 1995-96) and "It's Like, You Know..." (ABC, 1998-2000). She also was featured in the TV movies "Witch Hunt" (HBO, 1994-95) and "A Murder of Crows" (Cinemax, 1998-99). Gerstein most recently acted on "The Whole Truth" (ABC, 2010-11).
