Biography
Over the course of her career, Joan Gerber has lent her memorable voice to a variety of Hollywood productions. When Gerber started her entertainment career as a voice actor, she appeared in episodes of the animated series "The Pink Panther" (1969-1979), "The Bugaloos" (NBC, 1970-72) and "Help! It's the Hair Bear Bunch" (CBS, 1971-72). Additionally, Gerber added her pipes to the Debbie Reynolds animated picture "Charlotte's Web" (1973). In addition to her voice work, she appeared on camera in "Arnold's Closet Review" (NBC, 1970-71). After that, Gerber moved on to lend her vocal talents for roles in films like the animated feature "The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat" (1974) with Skip Hinnant, "Gentleman Tramp" (1976) and the Peter Ustinov animated movie "The Mouse and His Child" (1977). She also appeared in "Nutcracker Fantasy" (1979). Gerber more recently voiced characters in "The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries" (WB, 1995-2001).
