Robert Atkins was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1923, he directed "As You Like It" and "Hamlet" at the Old Vic in London. In 1936, he appeared in the film "Everything Is Thunder." Atkins began his career with a role in the fantastical comedy "Stairway to Heaven" (1947) with Kim Hunter. Atkins then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Black Magic" (1949). Later in his career, Atkins acted in the romantic sci-fi "I'll Never Forget You" (1951) with Tyrone Power. Atkins was married to Ethel Davey. Atkins passed away in February 1972 at the age of 86.
