Biography
Leonard George was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. In his early acting career, George appeared in such films as the biopic drama "Viva Zapata!" (1952) with Marlon Brando, the Marlon Brando dramatic adaptation "Desiree" (1954) and "Ocean's Eleven" (1960). He also appeared in the drama "The Story on Page One" (1960) with Rita Hayworth. He kept working in film throughout the seventies and the nineties, starring in "The Rainbow Boys" (1972), the comedy adaptation "Man of the House" (1995) with Chevy Chase and the dramatic adaptation "Smoke Signals" (1998) with Adam Beach. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Stargate SG-1" (1997-2006). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "DreamKeeper" (2003-04). Most recently, George appeared in "Klondike" (2013-14).
