Actress Carrie Armstrong was most commonly known for her roles in television dramas. Armstrong began her acting career with roles in dramas like "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009), "The O.C." (Fox, 2002-07) and "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). She also landed roles in movies like the Jim Carrey box office smash comedy "Liar Liar" (1997) and "Perfect Mate" (1997). Armstrong worked not only as an actress, but as a producer, most notably on "Black and White: A Warrior's Quest" (1990) and "Ninja Vengeance" (1993) with Stephen K Hayes. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Governor's Wife" (Lifetime Movie Network, 2007-08). Following that project, she worked on "Grey's Anatomy" (2004-), "Parenthood" (NBC, 2009-2015) and "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Heart of the Beholder" (2008). More recently, she tackled roles on "Harry's Law" (2010-12), "2 Broke Girls" (CBS, 2011-) and "Scandal" (ABC, 2011-).
