Biography

Carmine Appice brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Appice began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "The Last Married Couple in America" (1979), the biopic drama "Star 80" (1983) with Mariel Hemingway and the action flick "Missing in Action" (1984) with Chuck Norris. His music also appeared in the Kevin Costner remake "No Way Out" (1987). In the eighties and the nineties, Appice's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "So I Married An Axe Murderer" (1993) with Mike Myers and "A Night At the Roxbury" (1998) with Will Ferrell. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Chasing Destiny" (2001). Appice's music was most recently featured in the animated adventure "The Book of Life" (2014) with Diego Luna. Appice also contributed music to "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (1998).
