Actress Hope Allen was most recognized for her roles in television. Allen started off her acting career in various television sitcoms, including "Family Matters" (CBS, 1989-1998), "Step by Step" (CBS, 1991-98) and "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004). She also appeared in the TV movie "Night of the Running Man" (HBO, 1994-95). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Baywatch Nights" (1995-97) and "Malcolm and Eddie" (UPN, 1995-2000). More recently, she earned a role in the Jim Carrey box office smash comedy "Liar Liar" (1997). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Providence" (1998-2003), "Alias" (ABC, 2001-06) and "Two and a Half Men" (CBS, 2003-2015). She also appeared in "Drop Dead Diva" (Lifetime, 2008-2014). Allen most recently acted on "Pan Am" (ABC, 2011-12).
