Biography
Ken Farmer, known for his action packed roles, was an accomplished actor who built up a solid reputation throughout his film career. In the early stages of his acting career, Farmer starred in action films like "Uncommon Valor" (1983) with Gene Hackman and Robert Stack, "Silverado" (1985) with Kevin Kline and Scott Glenn and the Melanie Kilgour film "Maniac Warriors" (1992). He also appeared in the TV movie "Another Pair of Aces: Three of a Kind" (CBS, 1990-91). He continued to act in productions like "Rocketman" (1997) with Harland Williams and the Matthew McConaughey action movie "The Newton Boys" (1998). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Logan's War: Bound By Honor" (CBS, 1998). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Walker, Texas Ranger" (CBS, 1992-2001). Recently, he tackled roles in the dramatic adaptation "Friday Night Lights" (2004) with Billy Bob Thornton. He also was featured in the TV movies "The President's Man" (CBS, 1999) and "Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story" (VH1, 2001-02). Farmer most recently acted on "The Good Guys" (Fox, 2009-2010).
