Biography
Gil Evans worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Evans worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Dage i min fars hus" (1968), "Insignificance" with Gary Busey (1985) and "The Line" (1980). In the eighties and the early 2000s, Evans devoted his time to various credits, such as "Absolute Beginners" (1986) starring Eddie O'Connell, "Don Johnson's Music Video Feature Heartbeat" (HBO, 1986-87) and "Miles Ahead: The Music of Miles Davis" (PBS, 1986-87). He also worked on "The Color of Money" with Paul Newman (1986), "High Heels" (1991) and "Miles Davis: A Tribute" (PBS, 1992-93). Evans's music was most recently used in the Val Kilmer action movie "The Salton Sea" (2002).
