Jonathan Emerson worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Emerson began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Dan Aykroyd comedy "The Couch Trip" (1988), the David Birney sci-fi motion picture "Nightfall" (1988) and "Daddy's Boys" (1988). He also appeared in "84 Charlie MoPic" (1989) and the David Andrews suspenseful adaptation "Stephen King's Graveyard Shift" (1990). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the Brooke Adams thriller "The Unborn" (1991), the comedy sequel "Father of the Bride Part II" (1995) with Steve Martin and the action flick "Mars Attacks!" (1996) with Jack Nicholson. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "12:01" (Fox, 1992-1993). He shifted from film to television work through the nineties through the 2010s, appearing on "The Practice" (1997-2004), "Ray Donovan" (Showtime, 2013-) and "Fresh Off The Boat" (ABC, 2015-). He also appeared in "Stitchers" (Freeform, 2015-17). Most recently, Emerson worked on "Kevin Can Wait" (CBS, 2016-).
