Biography
Adam MacDonald was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Big Wolf on Campus" (Fox Family Channel, 1998-2001). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Satan's School For Girls" (1999-2000), "The Audrey Hepburn Story" (ABC, 1999) and "Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story" (VH1, 2000-01). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Mutant X" (2001-05), "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05) and "Beach Girls" (Lifetime, 2004-05). He also starred in the TV movies "Snow in August" (Showtime, 2000-01) and "Love Rules!" (ABC Family, 2003-04). He also was featured in the TV movie "No Brother of Mine" (Lifetime, 2007-08). He also held acting roles in films like the comedy adaptation "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (2004) with Lindsay Lohan and the Bryan Fisher horror feature "Jekyll + Hyde" (2006). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Rookie Blue" (ABC, 2009-2015) and "Transporter The Series" (TNT, 2014-15). Most recently, MacDonald directed the thriller "Backcountry" (2015) with Jeff Roop.
