Beth Ehlers was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also was featured in the miniseries "Family Reunion" (1981-82). She also appeared in the TV movie "In Defense of Kids" (CBS, 1982-83). She had a part on the television special "Mystery at Fire Island" (CBS, 1981-82). She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Guiding Light" in 1991. She also appeared in the TV special "Things Are Looking Up" (CBS, 1983-84). Following that project, she appeared in the Catherine Deneuve horror flick "The Hunger" (1983) and "Hiding Out" (1987) with Jon Cryer. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Best Times" (NBC, 1984-85). In the nineties, Ehlers lent her talents to projects like "The 18th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (CBS, 1990-91), "The 19th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (NBC, 1991-92) and "The Ninth Annual Soap Opera Awards" (NBC, 1992-93). Her credits also expanded to "Soap Opera Update Awards" (Lifetime, 1997-98) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Ehlers most recently appeared on "The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (ABC, 2005-06).
