Actress Gloria Edwards was known for her roles on the silver screen. In 1988, she had her final film role in "Freeway." Edwards began her career with a role in the dramatic adaptation "Black Girl" (1972) with Brock Peters. Later, she acted in the Richard Pryor comedy adaptation "Which Way Is Up?" (1977). Later in her career, Edwards appeared in "Sister, Sister" (NBC, 1981-82). Edwards's husband was Dick Anthony Williams. Edwards passed away in February 1988 at the age of 44.
