Biography
Actor David Alpay was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He also appeared in the TV movie "Martha Stewart: Behind Bars" (CBS, 2005-06). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the Bruce Greenwood historical drama "Ararat" (2002) and "Man of the Year" (2006) with Robin Williams. He continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "The Tudors" (Showtime, 2006-2010), "Royal Pains" (USA, 2008-) and "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16). Additionally, he later acted in the dramatic period piece "Closing the Ring" (2007) with Shirley MacLaine. Recently, he tackled roles on "Vampire Diaries" (2009-17), "Miami Medical" (CBS, 2009-2010) and "Fairly Legal" (USA, 2010-12). He also appeared in "The Borgias" (Showtime, 2010-13). Alpay most recently appeared in "Ice Sculpture Christmas" (Hallmark Channel, 2015-).
