Biography

Bruce Bruce was a great addition to any film comedy after having enjoyed several successes in his Hollywood career. He had an early role on the television special "Black Filmmaker Showcase" (2003-07). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Comedy Central Presents..." (Comedy Central, 1998-2011). Bruce also contributed music to the John Cassavetes horror film "The Incubus" (1982). He then appeared in the dramedy "Hair Show" (2004) with Mo'Nique, "XXX: State of the Union" (2005) and "Idlewild" (2006). He also appeared in "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" (2006) with Larry the Cable Guy. He also held acting roles in films like "Who's Your Caddy?" (2007) with Big Boi and the Michael Ealy comedy adaptation "Think Like A Man" (2012). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Comedy You Can Believe in With David Alan Grier" (TBS, 2008-09) and "Bruce Bruce: Losin' It" (Showtime, 2010-11). Most recently, Bruce appeared in the comedy "Top Five" (2014) with Chris Rock.
