Biography
Sarah Peirse was an actress who has created her niche in the dramatic film. Peirse kickstarted her acting career in various films such as the dramatic comedy "Arriving Tuesday" (1986) with Judy McIntosh and the crime drama "Heavenly Creatures" (1994) with Melanie Lynskey. She kept working in film throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, starring in "The Rain" (2002), the Ian McKellen hit fantasy sequel "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" (2013) and the Martin Freeman smash hit adventure "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" (2014). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Unconditional Love (New Line)" (Starz, 2002). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Hunters" (Syfy, 2016). Peirse most recently acted on "The Shannara Chronicles" (MTV, 2015-).
