At the beginning of his career, Smith broke into producing on such films as "L' Amore Molesto" (1995) and "R.D.F.: Rumore Di Fondo" (1996) with Francesco Dominedo. Smith also appeared in "Theater of War" (1998) starring Andrea Renzi, "L' Uomo in Piu" (2001) and "Together" (2001). He also worked on "15 to Life" with Moon Jones (2002) and "My Kingdom" with Richard Harris (2002). More recently, Smith acted in "Glory Road" (2006).
