Robert Wahlberg was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. At the start of his acting career, Wahlberg starred in dramas like "Southie" (1999) starring Donnie Wahlberg, "Orphan" (2001) with Marty Maguire and Charis Michaelson and "Moonlight Mile" (2002) with Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon. He also appeared in "Mystic River" (2003) with Sean Penn. He also appeared in the TV movie "Scenes of the Crime" (Starz, 2002-03). He continued to act in productions like the Leonardo DiCaprio hit action film "The Departed" (2006), the Casey Affleck crime drama "Gone Baby Gone" (2007) and the comedy "On Broadway" (2008) with Joey McIntyre. He also lent his voice to "The War" (2007-08). In the 2010s, Wahlberg lent his talents to projects like "Don McKay" with Thomas Haden Church (2010), "Boston's Finest" (TNT, 2012-14) and "Contraband" (2012). His credits also expanded to "Wahlburgers" (A&E Network, 2013-). Wahlberg most recently acted in the Denzel Washington smash hit action movie "The Equalizer" (2014).
