Despite finding bit roles in TV and film in the early 2000s, Kristy Wu's big break came when she was cast as Chao-Ahn, a lactose-intolerant slayer who only speaks Cantonese in the seventh and final season of Joss Whedon's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." She followed up this high-profile gig with a significant role in the 2005 slasher flick "Cry_Wolf" before joining the cast of the Discovery Kids series "Flight 29 Down," about a band of teens stranded on an island. In 2012, Wu appeared in her first critically acclaimed feature film as Sook in David Ayer's gritty cop drama "End of Watch."
