Biography
Brendan Cowell was an actor who starred in many drama films. Cowell began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "City Loop" (2000) with Sullivan Stapleton, the dramatic adaptation "The Monkey's Mask" (2001) with Susie Porter and "To End All Wars" (2002). He also appeared in the TV movie "Monster!" (UPN, 1999-2000). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the dramatic sports film "Deck Dogz" (2005) with Tony Hawk, the crime drama "Noise" (2008) with Nicholas Bell and the Geoff Morrell drama "Ten Empty" (2008). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Stephen King's Salem's Lot" (2003-04). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Beneath Hill 60" (2010), "I Love You Too" (2010) and "Save Your Legs" (2014). He held additional roles in television including a part on "The Borgias" (Showtime, 2010-13). Most recently, Cowell directed the foreign "Ruben Guthrie" (2015) with Patrick Brammall.
