Biography
Roger Dumas was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dumas started his acting career landing roles in such films as the action movie "The Tiger Likes Fresh Blood" (1964) with Roger Hanin, "That Man From Rio" (1964) and the action picture "An Orchid For the Tiger" (1965) with Roger Hanin. He also appeared in the Jean Seberg drama "La Ligne de Demarcation" (1966), "Le Bougnoul" (1975) and "General nous voila" (1978). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the historical drama "Fort Saganne" (1984) with Gérard Depardieu, the Francis Huster drama "La Femme Publique" (1984) and the comedy "Suivez mon regard" (1986) with Pierre Arditi. He also appeared in the Francis Perrin comedy "Le Debutant" (1986). More recently, he continued to act in the Nicolas Chatel dramatic adaptation "The New World" (1995), the Michel Piccoli sci-fi flick "Tykho Moon" (1996) and "Les Destinees" (2002) with Emmanuelle Béart. He also appeared in "Le Grand Meaulnes" (2006) with Jean-Baptiste Maunier and "Comedy of Power" (2007). Dumas most recently voiced characters in the Max Renaudin animated film "Zarafa" (2015).
