Biography
Rapidly working his way up through NBC Entertainment's comedy department, Simon broke into the executive ranks during his brief tenure with NBC Productions. The network's program entertainment division, however, beckoned him back, where he headed up comedy and then drama programming before taking charge of all series development and operations in 1988. Two years later Simon added on the responsibility for long-form productions as well.
