Biography
Julia Deakin was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. Deakin started her entertainment career by acting in comedies like the Con O'Neill film "Dancin' Thru the Dark" (1990) and the Martin Clunes film "Staggered" (1994). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "Vanity Fair" (1988-89) and "Spaced" (1999-2001). She continued to act in productions like the dramatic period piece "Liam" (2001) with Anthony Borrows, "Shaun of the Dead" (2004) with Simon Pegg and "Scoop" (2006). She also appeared in "Hot Fuzz" (2007) with Jim Broadbent. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Sleeper" (BBC, 2001-02). Deakin most recently acted on "I Live With Models" (Comedy Central, 2014-).
