Biography
David Drake got his start in the world of acting at the ripe age of eight. Drake's early roles were in dramas like "Two-Lane Blacktop" (1971) with Warren Oates and James Taylor, "Longtime Companion" (1990) starring Patrick Cassidy and "Philadelphia" (1993) with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010) and "Bob" (CBS, 1992-94). He continued to act in productions like the comedy adaptation "It's Pat" (1994) with Julia Sweeney, "Peoria Babylon" (1995) and the drama "David Searching" (1998) with Anthony Rapp. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). Most recently, Drake acted in "We Pedal Uphill" (2009).
