Biography
Eric Douglas's success as an actor began when he was a mere 13 years old. In the early stages of his acting career, Douglas was featured in films like "A Gunfight" (1971) with Kirk Douglas, "The Flamingo Kid" (1984) with Matt Dillon and "Tomboy" (1985) starring Betsy Russell. He also appeared in the TV movie "Remembrance of Love" (NBC, 1982-83). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the action flick "The Golden Child" (1986) with Eddie Murphy and "Student Confidential" (1987). Douglas also created music for the comedy "A Fine Mess" (1986) with Ted Danson. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the John Philbin action picture "Honor Bound" (1990) and "Young Commandos" (1991). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Yellow" (HBO, 1990-91). Douglas more recently worked on "The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts" (CBS, 1994-95). Douglas passed away in July 2004 at the age of 46.
