Biography

As the daughter of two musicians, it's only fitting that Sheryl Crow made a name for herself in the music industry throughout the 1990s and 2000s. With several platinum-selling albums and numerous Grammy wins, the singer/songwriter naturally decided to crossover into acting. Crow made her feature film debut as a '70s "VIP Patron" amongst a plethora of other celebrities in 1998's "54," a drama about the legendary New York City nightclub Studio 54. The Missouri native decided to take a darker turn for her next role, appearing as a poisoned junkie in the 1999 thriller "The Minus Man." In "De-Lovely," the 2004 film about the life of famed composer Cole Porter, the singer once again warmed up her vocal chords and gave an extraordinary rendition of Porter's classic "Begin The Beguine." In 2010, she appeared as herself on an episode of the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," starring Miley Cyrus, and also appeared as Sarah, the girlfriend of one of Courtney Cox's neighbors, in a recurring role on ABC's romantic comedy program "Cougar Town."
