Douglas Adams worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Early in his screenwriting career, Adams penned scripts for various television shows, including "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (PBS, 1982-83). Adams also appeared in "Masters of Fantasy: Douglas Adams" (Syfy, 1997-98) and "The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy" with Martin Freeman (2005). Adams was most recently credited in the Graham Chapman animated film "A Liar's Autobiography - The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman" (2012). Adams passed away in May 2001 at the age of 49.
