Biography
1997 was a big year for up and coming actor Colton James. At 11 years old, he booked Spielberg and Seinfeld, two of the biggest names in '90s entertainment. "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" cast him as pint-sized citizen of a San Diego overrun by an ornery T-rex. On the neurotic New York sitcom "Seinfeld," James played Jimmy, a first class brat whom Elaine is charged with babysitting. James teamed with Mike Myers for his 1999 spy spoof, "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me." In 2000, James garnered a supporting role in Tarsem Singh's visually audacious debut "The Cell," alongside Jennifer Lopez and Vince Vaughn. James found plenty of small-screen work that decade, including stints on "ER," "The X-Files," and "NYPD Blue." In 2006, he landed a recurring role on "7th Heaven" as bad boy romantic interest T-Bone. James also appeared on acclaimed cable favorites like killer's killer thriller "Dexter" and the HBO undertaker drama, "Six Feet Under." James served as casting assistant on the primetime paranormal serial "Supernatural," and starred in the series as black arts-meddler Gary Frankle in the 2010 episode "I Killed Kristin."
