Biography
Po-Chih Leong built an impressive career as a director on a variety of films. Leong directed a variety of independent films in his early directing career, including such titles as the Callan Leung crime flick "Jumping Ash" (1976), "Hong Kong 1941" (1984) and "The Island (Life and Death)" (1985) with John Sham. He also appeared in the comedy "Jixu Taiowu" (1987) with Cora Miao and "Ping Pong" (1987). On top of having directing experience, Leong acted in productions like the Sally Yeh action picture "Peking Opera Blues" (1989). He continued to work in film in the nineties and the early 2000s, directing motion pictures like the crime feature "Shanghai 1920" (1991) with John Lone. Leong also directed the John Lone crime picture "Shanghai 1920" (1991). Additionally, he directed a variety of TV movies including "Walking Shadow" (2000-01) and "Return to Cabin By the Lake" (USA, 2001-02). Leong most recently directed the horror flick "Baby Blues" (2014) with Sing Kwan Janelle.
