He also contributed to "For Your Love" (WB, 1997-2002) and "The 14th Annual Soul Train Music Awards" (1999-2000). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Benét devoted his time to various credits, such as "The 31st Annual NAACP Image Awards" (Fox, 1999-2000), "The 5th Annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards" and "The Best Man" (1999). He also worked on "1st Annual BET Awards" (BET, 2000-01) and "7th Annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards" (2001-02). He also appeared in the dramatic musical "Glitter" (2001) with Mariah Carey.
