Biography
As one of the titular "guys" in the successful ABC midseason replacement series "Two Guys and a Girl/Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" (1998-2001), Richard Ruccolo reached his largest audience to date. He starred as Pete, the analytical straight man to wacky medical student Berg (Ryan Reynolds) and high-strung professional Sharon (Traylor Howard). The attractive brown-haired actor brought life to Pete, portraying him as the more serious and sensitive of the two males, while at the same time getting his share of laughs. A virtual newcomer, Ruccolo landed a guest spot on a 1997 episode of the TV drama "Beverly Hills, 90210" (Fox) three weeks after moving to Los Angeles. Soon thereafter he was starring in the Court Theater production "Playback" by Charlie Peters. Ruccolo has been featured in the films "Live Long Drink Juice" (1995) and "Music From Another Room" (1998) and has done extensive work in television commercials.
