Jack Denton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Denton was nominated for an Outstanding Achievement In Technical Direction and Electronic Camerawork Primetime Emmy Award for "A Special Olivia Newton-John" in 1977 as well as for an Outstanding Achievement In Technical Direction and Electronic Camerawork Primetime Emmy Award for "Goldie and Liza Together" in 1980. Denton worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Swinging Cheerleaders" (1974) starring Jo Johnston and "Welcome Back, Kotter" (ABC, 1975-79). Denton was nominated for an Outstanding Achievement In Technical Direction and Electronic Camerawork Primetime Emmy Award for "A Special Olivia Newton-John" in 1977 as well as for an Outstanding Achievement In Technical Direction and Electronic Camerawork Primetime Emmy Award for "Goldie and Liza Together" in 1980. Later, Denton acted in "Splash" (1984), "Crossings" (1985-86) and "Eleanor -- In Her Own Words" (PBS, 1986-87). Later in his career, Denton worked on "The Puppetoon Movie" (1987).
