Biography
Jerome Dempsey was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dempsey kickstarted his acting career with films like "Network" (1976). He also appeared in the TV movie "Kent State" (NBC, 1980-81). Dempsey worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Cosby Show" (NBC, 1984-1992). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the drama "The Wizard of Loneliness" (1988) with Lukas Haas and "Race For Glory" (1989). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Gore Vidal's Lincoln" (1987-88). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Kennedys of Massachusetts" (1989-1990). He also lent his distinctive voice to "The Civil War" (PBS, 1990). Dempsey more recently acted in "Mistress" (1992) with Robert Wuhl.
