Biography
Eric DaRe's acting career took off when he was a mere 11 years old. DaRe worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Betty Blokk-Buster Follies" with Reg Livermore (1976), "Dudes" with Jon Cryer (1988) and "Fear City" (1985) starring Tom Berenger. He also contributed to "Into the Homeland" (HBO, 1987-88), "Nightflyers" (1987) and "Three For the Road" (1987). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the horror sequel "Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out!" (1989) with Robert Culp and "Critters 4" (1992). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Twin Peaks" (ABC, 1989-1991). Recently, he tackled roles in the Ray Wise dramatic comedy "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" (1992), "Dead Connection" (1994) and the Billy Drago action film "The Takeover" (1995). He also appeared in the crime feature "Playing God" (1997) with David Duchovny. He also was featured in the TV movie "Poodle Springs" (HBO, 1997-98). DaRe most recently acted in "Starship Troopers" (1997) with Casper Van Dien.
