Actor Phil Daniels was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Daniels's earliest roles were in film, including the Glenda Jackson drama "The Class of Miss MacMichael" (1978), the action movie "Zulu Dawn" (1979) with Burt Lancaster and "Quadrophenia" (1979). He also appeared in "Scum" (1979) with Ray Winstone, "Breaking Glass" (1980) and "Meantime" (1983). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Daniels devoted his time to various credits, such as "Bad Behaviour" (1993), "Still Crazy" with Stephen Rea (1998) and "Drive, She Said" with Moira Kelly (1999). He also worked on the Mel Gibson and Julia Sawalha blockbuster "Chicken Run" (2000). In his more recent career, he continued to act in the drama "Strong Boys" (2001) with Paul Nicholls, the dramatic comedy "Goodbye Charlie Bright" (2001) with Paul Nicholls and "Freebird" (2008). Daniels's music was most recently used in the documentary "Soul Boys of the Western World" (2015) with Tony Hadley. Daniels's distinctive voice can be heard on "Misfits" (E4, 2009-2014).
