Biography
Dick Dale was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Dale held acting roles in films like "Muscle Beach Party" (1963) with Frankie Avalon. Dale focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Rock & Roll" (PBS, 1995-96). More recently, he earned a role in the Tommy Hinkley comedic adventure "Back to the Beach" (1987). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "From the Heart: A Tribute to Lawrence Welk and the American Dream" (PBS, 1992-93) and "Music in Movies '94" (ABC, 1994-95). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Rock & Roll" (PBS, 1995-96). Most recently, Dale appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (ABC, 2002-).
